Lower Merion High School Annual football game. The oldest continuous public high school football rivalry in the U.S. Of special note, the administration of Radnor High School grants the students of the school a half-day on the next school day if the school beats Lower Merion. However, the students of Lower Merion do not enjoy any similar reward. As of 11/15/08, Radnor has won the last 10 games running. Only on November 14, 2009 did LM beat Radnor 20-7 to end that streak. This date is particularly interested to note, as it was the 113th meeting of the teams, the freshman class is the class of 2013, the quarterback was #13, Radnor lost by 13 points, and the pep rally was held on Friday the 13th.[5]
